Financial and economic sanctions are part of France’s internal and policy. To tackle money laundering and other prohibited activities, sanctions decided by the UN, sanctions enacted at the European Union level, and sanctions implemented at the national level which are neither of UN or EU origin, are the three types of French law sanctions.
